Manami is up against Shuffle’s Kaede in today’s Saimoe contest.
THIS YEAR’S JAPANESE 2ch Saimoe tournament has not been a happy one for the cast of Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight, with only Mikan having progressed beyond the first round. Today gives you the opportunity to vote for the eponymous Manabi herself.
There has been some incredibly bad luck in the draw: Poor Mei came up against the huge Hayate bandwagon is the form of the deretsun Nagi, surely a major contender to be the overall winner, while Momo failed against the tough Negima assault. Unsurprisingly, Mucchii performed miserably against last year’s moe queen, Rozen doll No. 3 Suiseiseki.
Manami ‘Manabi’ Amamiya has Shuffle! favourite Kaede Fuyou to contend with, who inspires fanatical devotion in her many fans, as well as some moe blob from Futogo hime gyu!
Manabi Straight was one of the best anime of 2006 with a ‘warm and fuzzy’ rating of A++ and deserves to win over the pornShuffle characters!
Also, if you’re voting, please chuck one of your other votes the way of Makoto from Tokikake (The girl who leapt through time), who has tough opposition in the form of Lucky Star’s very own manufactured moe moe Miyuki.

XD I’m a complete idiot. I was mad about not getting to vote for Momo when I already had the day beore ^^;; I only realised it cuz her ballot was still on the page saved with my vote code XD
